I"m a little late in posting about this but my best friend Brianne's son turned ONE! (Oh and we're going black & white for this post)
I'm not sure why or how it started, but I have gotten into the habit of calling babies and young children "little nuggets," and Clay is my favorite little nugget! I'm so grateful that I get to watch him grow up into a handsome little man!
I have always pictured having children of my own, but it wasn't until I started serving with Coreluv and getting involved with orphan care that God opened my eyes and heart to the possibility of adoption.
The odds of me adopting any of the children in Haiti that I have met and carry in my heart are slim, but there are so many children in the United States that are also in need of homes and I plan on providing one for at least one of them in my lifetime.
I love all the little nuggets and I love that they all have a unique story of how they came to be in front of my camera. When I meet them they might be a couple's 1st or 5th child, they might be the child of a single parent, they might be an orphan or they might have been adopted by a loving family. Each and every child's story is beautiful and I want to be the photographer to tell it.
